Dependability
After 30 years of active-duty service in the U.S. Army I have come to appreciate a dependable piece of equipment. Simple, functional and dependable are what I look for in my equipment and accessories. For example, the little can opener, called a P38, included in C-Rations I ate in the field while serving in East Asia. That P38 never failed to get those canned meals opened, and you could also use it as a screwdriver! It was the definition of simple, functional and dependable.
